Adding an Arch

Hi, friends!

Today I’m sharing probably my favorite home project so far: adding an arch to this hallway!

When we moved into our house a year and a half ago, everything was builder-grade. The walls were painted a dark beige color, which made our small house feel even smaller. And this hallway was a plain rectangular box (no trim or anything.) There was also a weird, oddly shaped plant ledge above it (I was SO HAPPY when Hamilton framed it in!) Anyway, with a little framing and sheetrock work and some bright white paint, this space was totally transformed!

I’ll share a full tutorial on how we made the arch later, but for now I at least wanted to share the result because I am OBSESSED.
