Sustainable + Unique Gift Wrapping

Hi, friends!

Ok, I know Christmas is over, but the holidays got away from me this year! I wanted to share my sustainable + so pretty gifts before it’s too late because I had so much fun wrapping these sweet little packages :).

If y’all have been following me for awhile, you probably recognize those clay gift tags. I made like fifteen of these for each family member a few years ago and have been using them ever since! (If you want to see the tutorial on how I made them, head over to my IG! @catsivula) The clay has held up so well and I love not having to buy or fill out those to/from tags for every gift.

One new thing I tried this year was using fabric to wrap some gifts and YOU GUYS—it worked so well! I had a couple of pieces of spare fabric with my sewing stuff that I tried out first, and then I actually bought some additional fabric because I liked it so much. There are several ways to wrap with fabric but the easiest is just to wrap it around once in each direction and then knot it on top. Super quick and I love that I’ll be able to reuse the fabric again and again!

I saved my chunky yarn from last Christmas and bought some pretty velvet ribbon as well to use in lieu of those stick-on bows. I love to layer multiple colors and textures together for this part—it’s an opportunity to get creative!

The little critters and bells were a fun addition this year too! Target’s finest :). I packed them away with the wrapping so I can use them again next year!

That’s all for now, friends. Happy (belated) holidays!
