Vintage Christmas Gift Wrapping
It’s six days til Christmas and I’ve finally started wrapping gifts! Better late than never, right?
I purchased a few rolls of gift wrap this year, but all of the ribbon, tags and baubles were reused from previous years.
One thing I love about fabric ribbon vs paper is you can reuse it again and again! And if it gets a bit crinkled from those bows and knots, a quick swipe with an iron will have it good as new again.
This is year four? five?…of using the same clay gift tags and they are still going strong. I store them in our attic, where it’s hot in the summer and cold in winter, but not a single one has cracked or broken yet. Definitely worth the effort of making once and using year after year!
I’ve collected little trinkets, bells, and ornaments over time to use as baubles on gifts. I think it adds a special little something that makes each gift unique and fun to open. Love is in the details, as they say 🤍.
Hope your holidays are merry, friends! Happy wrapping!
